Currently turnaround times are down to a couple of weeks or less.
Please Note: As of August 4th all work requiring return postage MUST include an email address and mobile phone number, in accordance with new Aus Post guidelines. Without this information I will not be able to create a return post label.
Many individuals purchasing reels from overseas are finding they can not get them serviced through Shimano or Daiwa Australia. This has always been the case. I can service these reels but be aware that some international parts are excluded from retail sale, and if this is the case, you will need to send the reel back to where it came from for repairs.
International purchased reels are NOT covered under warranty in Australia and again need to be sent back to the country of origin.
Also, some major manufacturers have implemented a cut off for servicing older reels, and as such will not look at them. Many people have sent reels away only to find them returned in the post as they are ‘too old’. Again I can still service these reels, but it is likely that some parts are no longer available. Check first.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I NO LONGER SERVICE ELECTRIC REELS. THE BEST OPTION IS TO SEND THEM DIRECTLY TO THE SUPPLIER.

Also, if you complete the online booking form the next step is to send the reel/s to the PO Box indicated, or arrange a time to drop them off.
Don’t wait for me to reply, as I will only do so if you have asked me a question.
There are still a number of booking forms which the reels have not turned up/been posted. Please don’t fill out a booking form for unless you intend to post it.

NOTE: All reels go into the service que once they are received, so turnaround times are based on when I physically receive the reel/s, and how many reels are already in the que.

If you require reel parts then I can supply you with all parts currently available from the suppliers.
Also, I carry all the common metric bearing sizes found in most reels, plus the common imperial Avet bearings.

I NO LONGER DO ANY ROD RELATED WORK
This includes guide repairs, custom rod builds, re-builds and restoration works. The demand for reel servicing is overwhelming and is my #1 priority.
A couple of the local tackle stores will do guide replacements.
